Its wash day on the Brody Farm. This scratched-built farm house was inspired from one I saw on the F&SM Railroad. The linen was done using plies of bathroom tissue cut to size. I recently added a dog house along the side of the house in honor of my pet beagle “Junior” who sadly passed away last October.
As usual, great artisrty with the details. The flowering bush adds great color. I still can’t get my shingles to come out like that. I think I am too careful. Sorry about Junior. We just lost our 14 year old Bashan this month. Its sad.
Bob, that’s a great scene, I really like the addition of the flowering shrub in the scene. I think most of us just think of trees and green grass and bushes. I can’t let my wife see this or she is going to want her favorite rose bushes spread around the layout.
great job bob. highly detailed! sorry for your lost
Bob, this is outstanding, well detailed work! I don’t know what part of the U.S this scene represents, but just looking at it this reminds me of the rural areas that I visit in central Georgia from time to time.
