Hi!

This thread is dedicated to sharing stories about personal experiences, tips and photos of layouts.

I’ll start off with saying that I am at a milestone. I have just some minor touch-ups to do to the ground cover and then I’ll just have the trees, touch-ups with the track, and minor details to work on before saying that the layout is, to an extent, complete (though we know that there is no such thing ).

I will post a photo as soon as I can. I hope that you will share your experiences and work.

Here is a pic of two areas I recently painted to prepare for puff-ball trees…the shade of green is lighter than I was looking for…but it will be covered by trees anyway.

I’ll have to get a current photo, my layout is still without grass and the reason for that is because I got a service station kit from the LHS and haven’t gotten very far nor finished it. [:S]

Don’t worry, I have a craftsman kit for a logging camp that I started but haven’t yet finished. I haven’t even gotten very far.
