hey!!! um i was looking at some magazines and i found a layout i really want to build it says i need to use reverse loop wiring…lol what is that!!! I need help bad… im not using dcc so i need help…any info will help…thnkyou so much im a 12 year old and im on my second n scale and this one is gonna be tricky!!!

Not to worry. A reverse loop is one where the train ends up going back down the track in the other direction from which it came. If you can get a copy of one of the Atlas wiring/layout books at the library, it explains it all really well. The quick and easy way to handle it is to get one of the Atlas selectors and wire it up… You will also need to isolate the loop with insulating joiners so that it is seperate from the rest of the layout, and add a second set of feeds for the second section. If you search this site you will find other references and better explanations using other pieces, but the same general methods. J.R…

Thanks for the link and info. I took a side trip to it and it’s a good one, I found a lot of useful stuff. As a matter of fact, I’m in the process of doing a printout as we speak.
Man, you guys are really getting me hooked on these forum subjects. While I’m sitting there being a good host too company, I’m wishing they,d leave so I can come and see whats new.
