Layout wiring for signals and lights and Switches

Hi, I need alittle help on my layout wiring for lights and signals. I want to operate Model Powers 3 light signals on my DCC system. Its nothing special (Atlas’s Master DCC system) I don’t know what to get as in stationary decoders or where to get them. Right now I have them on a DC transformer connected Atlas’s Connectors. I’m not sure if I should even use those because I do not want to over heat the lights thats connected to them. I also want to operate my switches more effectively instead of using the Accessory outlet on the DC transformer.

If Any one can help it will be appreciated!! Send links or advice in your reply

Thanks.

YOU need separate power supplies.

LIGHTS: what is the required illumination volage?

SIGNALLING: Operational software (Ie: Controls, detection)?

TURNOUTS: 12 v with sufficient amps to trow more than one at a time.

TRACK VOLTAGE: (you have).

MY GUESS: is a good 12Volt DC supply of 3.5 amps - 5 amps would fill the bill. ‘Regulated’ is EVEN better

Thanks for the Info it is appreciated.

If youa re up to building your own that is fully DCC controlled and doesn’t draw power from your track, checkout the one I designed:
