PS why don’t you have any scenery or anything down yet? I mean it looks great with good track planning, but I think you should add some roadbed or something. Just my personal opinion.

Truthfully I have had time to add scenery yet. Only been working on the layout for a couple of months. I got the mountains around the tipple done a few day ago. I hope to have them painted by this weekend and the scenery around the tipple done next week.
As for the steel mill. It will take up the complete upper level to my layout. I plan in modeling a Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, Coke Ovens, rolling mill, a small by-products plant and a BOF Furnace.
The building that I build for my layout is 16’x16’. The layout goes around the room with a 5’x10’ peninsula coming out in the center of the room. The bench work around the walls is 1’ to 2’6" wide. There ar plans to add a 16’x16’ addition on to the building. But that is still in planning.
I’m working on the track plan for the lower level using Atlas Right Track software. I hope to have it done in a couple of day also.
