Legacy Oddity?

I don’t know if I posted this here before but I noticed something about my Legacy remotes tonight. When Lionel did the demo at York a few years back when one operator with the same engine called up applied the train brake or throttle I could feel the feedback in my remote.

I don’t recall if this was like this before the upgrade but I no longer get feedback on the second remote when the first does and vice versa. Can anyone with 2 remotes try this and see if the feedback is functioning when 1 remote initiates the command that causes feedback in it, if their second remote also feedbacks?

Marty,

I only have one, so no help from here. I think the Chief only has one, he had mentioned to me he wanted to get a second one, but without the base/charger. I’m not sure about Laz, but I think only has one.

Now IF the Chief did have 2, and now that you shared this with him, he will never leave his train room. I can just see him standing in the train room, with a remote in each hand alternating transmission of signals. He will be totally mesmerized, he could be stuck in there for days or even weeks. Wouldn’t even need to have an engine on the track.

MARTY,

I too only have one. I get a feedback just about every time I use the remote. DON, yes the CHIEF, would be his own best friend.

Laz you all might be onto something there could be why he bought the place at the lake so he could in privacey [:-^]

Just FYI all. I heard back from Lionel and this feature was disabled in V1.2 to conserve battery power. So there you go. Maybe they could add a menu item to turn it on and off. I thought it was cool to be alerted when the other guy made a change. Also it used to turn on the 2nd remotes backlight as well but no longer does that. That one I could see being a battery killer.
