Yes, CSX’s impressive safety record in the Toldeo, OH area includes the famed runaway CSX 6666 that ran for 66 miles south unmanned before being stopped in Kenton, OH. The Denzel Washington/Chris Pine movie “Unstoppable” is loosley based upon this event.
AND, that “runaway” caused NO accidents and resulted in NO injuries.
