Hi have a set 90 with LH-90 controller I picked up used at a great price. All is in working order and the CV’s have been programed along with 4 digit addresses
I am trying to set the LV102 part of the LVZ100 unit amplifier to a higher track voltage as the Atlas GP40 CN #4010 is a slow runner compared to the Atlas/Kato SD35 CP #5016
apparently you go to CV7 and make it = to 50 and winthin seconds add another value per the chart for track voltage (default is apparntly 16 volts) which is not what I have,. Mine is much lower I do not have a ramp meter to check it properly but when the locos are run on analogue DC on a test track to the same speed it appears to be around 9-10 volts. The prob with the LH-90 is setting CV7 it has no return button to set the second value and the proceedure in the manual is vague at best. It seems from research that the LH-100 throttle is much better when setting values but I dont have one.
? any thoughts
