Brian Hanel and Joanie will be stopping at Rochelle on their way home from Rockford Sunday afternoon/evening.
Pat and I will be heading out that way after I get off work.
We’ll have an extra hour of daylight that night, for the first time since last fall! That’s cause to celebrate. So’s the great weather that’s been forecast for the day–sunny, high in the upper 40s.
So anyone else who wants to spend a long, late afternoon where the trains run copiously (we hope!), we’re going to be there! Join us!
If I didn’t have school tomorrow, I’d try to join you guys! [8D] That would also be if I could get my mom or dad to drive across the state of Iowa and part of Illinois to spend a couple of hours watching trains and then come right back home. [;)]
Willy, I hope to have fun tomorrow–but that will be at work, and perhaps buying a new computer afterwards. Sunday’s the afternoon we’re going to Rochelle. It’d be a long drive for your folks, I’m afraid, and if you have school again Monday morning, your courses might put you to sleep (V.O.E. there).
Sounds fine to me. We’ll have to remind each other on Saturday so that you and Carl remember to be in the camera view at 6 PM and I remember to look at 6 PM.
Well, this is unfortunate. The sun is shining right into the camera and I can’t see a thing. It looked like there was a train going by just now, but I could hardly see that let alone any people that might be in the camera view. [:(]
Sorry I couldn’t make it there this afternoon, but if another similar get together is planned later in the year, I will certainly try…hope you all had a good time.
