Does anyone know of any company making decals for auto and truck license plates in HO scale?

Try Truckstopmodels or the 1/87 vehicle club, they would know, MR had some in the magizine a few years back (I think) but don’t remember what issue.

Microscale.
87-4149, Vehicle License Plates 1975-1985
87-4168, Commercial Vehicle License Plates 1970-1995

Not every state, just representative.

Thanks, now I’m on the right track to locate a Microscale decal sheet.

One other method - simply scale off a rectangle using a draw program on your PC, print the state and some numbers in it, reduce it using the draw program and print it on label stock (the adhesive back kind). Then cut it out with an exacto knife and stick-em on. Voila, endless supply of non-repeating license plates.

Are these not made by the inmates of the " Plasticville Correctional Facility " on the wrong side of the tracks. . . . . ?[:p]

wich made me wonder, are there any kits for a HO “correctional facilitiy” available ?

Lupo - there are police cars, courthouses, grafitti, bank robberies, chain gangs (and the licence plates crew), so there’s got to be a Correctional Centre somewhere. With my career in Corrections, I’m hoping that I can find something with PENN State, or CONrail …
