Hi, are these trees any good. Are they cheap looking?? Are they for O scale??

I bought a set of four and have them toward the back of my layout where they look fine (to me). They are about the same height as the K-Line by Lionel ranch house. Later I saw some by Woodland Scenics, and they have a better selection.

We have Life Like trees on our layout. They are fine for pruned trees one would see in a yard, but don’t look natural enough to represent wild trees. And they are small.
The Bachmann trees are much taller and more realistic looking.

I just bought 8 boxes of these at the last train show I was at. They are not ‘realistic’ but at $5 per box I couldn’t pass them up. They will be placed intermixed with other more realistic trees as filler in the mountains and I may try and ‘real’ them up a little.
If you get a good deal on them I would say go ahead and pick some up (I bought some in the 3-4 and 4-5 inch range).
