How would you guys put ballast on life like easy track?
I don’t think you can without spending a lot of money and a bigtime mess with CA (cynoacrylate) glue used for plastics (the roadbed is plastic) …most modelers use foam or cork road bed which has been attached to a plywood layout…brush on dry ballast until it fits between the ties and the rails, spray it with water from a fine mist spray bottle that has a few drops of soap in it, mix up dilute white glue in a 50% glue / 50 % water solution (some use a bit of alcohol in the mixture) and drizzle it onto the now wet ballast with an eye dropper…chuck
I am confused. LL EZ-Track? The name suggests Bachmann, not Life-Like. Also, if you are referring to the Bachmann product, it is already ballasted with the plastic, and you can add a thin veneer of fine ballast, glued with a diluted white or carpenter’s glue mixture to look fairly decent. I did.
