Purchase my first high-end locomotive, Life-Like N Scale SW 8 #7377 AT& SF, great detail, great speed control, I use DC as opposed to DCC, so I am limited, yet when I set to Locomotive in reverse the light goes out, any ideas, is this how it is supposed to work?
Yes I think so. I don’t believe it has directional lighting. If the ads for it don’t advertise directional lighting, then it probably does not have it. I have some of the nicer Life-Like Nscale locomotives and they, except for the Berkshire, do not have directional lighting.
