Life Like P2K help

At the local swap meet today I got a Life-like P2K SW1200 engine for real cheap. However it’s missing some parts. I need to figure out what parts are really missing so I can get them from Life-like. I already know that it’s missing the front and rear couplers and all outside handrails. I think it might be missing the rear step just outside the cab.
Does anyone have the instruction sheet that would include the exploded view schematic that would help me determine which parts I need? Thanks for any help.

First of all I can tell you you can’t get them from lifelike. The reason is they have been bought out by Walthers. I talked to them on the phone a couple weeks ago and they had not received any replacement parts yet as they were still in a truck some where in another state. You may want ot call and ask if the parts have made it to the Walthers warehouse. Here is the link…http://walthers.com/… and the phone #1-800-773-9350. This should get you started on your way. Hope it helps. Joey

I don’t got to Life-like to get the parts, I go to Hobbycraft Canada since I’m Canadian. I’ve had good luck with them before, just a month ago I got new handrails for my P1K C-liner. What I need though is the exploded view drawing though.

Perhaps some one who owns this model might have a manual complete with the diagram and parts list. Should be easy enough to digital photo a decent copy and get it emailed to you some how.

It is an idea I thought of. I dont own this model.

I once ordered a part out of the factory in Baltimore and it arrived soon after. Since Walthers has bought and paid for Life Like, I would think you might want to start there.

Glen. I have the booklet of the 1200 switcher but I have no way to send you the drawings is there anyother way I can help. rambo1…email is robert.grego@sympatico.ca

Will a digital camera in macro mode take a decent picture of the drawings to be emailed?

Maybe, there’s only one way to find out for sure, I figure

I scanned and uploaded the manual here:

Click on image, then do a “save picture as” for each page. You can then print it or just view it on your computer. Hope it works for you.

Thanks, that was just what I needed!
