Excellent units! Probably one of the best plastic HO scale locomotives ever made! I have two SD-50s, and a bunch of the SD-60s (Same drive, slightly different shells), and they are the best units on my layout.
I have 1 sd 50 with mrc sound 6 sd 60s Conrail and undec . Gradually half will have mrc sound .They look great with 35 car unit gravel trains . Seems gear ratios different between 50 and 60 model. When my Dcc skills improve I can iron out the differences.
