lifelike power lock track

hii was considering using powerlock track for my next layout… it is an n scale…i was wondering if it is a good idea. i am building an n scla ethat is 36"x80" door. i was wondering if any of you have any info… thankyou for your help[:)]

Yes that is a great idea! I use power-loc track on my HO Scale 4x8 layout. Don’t worry, they offer the same types of track in N too, they just finished putting out the new turnouts! It is very good track and I’m very happy with it, I have been using it for the past 6 or so years and it hasen’t failed yet and I don’t think it will. Anyways, it is a great choice and I’m sure we would enjoy seeing some photos when you are done! Good luck!

Hey dude, just read your other forum. So your 12 years old he? I’m 14 and on my 3rd HO layout, but with the same track. Anyways good luck, I think I’ll stick with HO for now but I’m considering building an N scale or On30 scale layout soon.

train284 thnx for the help!!! i was wondering wat is the difference between o scale and on30? i always wanted to know that well ya i am 12 and im on my second layout my first one came out great i have 9 shutoff switches so im doing good i hpe this one cmes out the same way!!!

The main difference bettween O and On30 is that O scale runs on three rail and is larger and is usually modeled in standard gauge, not that there is not any narrow. On30 is smaller and runs on HO gauge track, but is slightly larger than most HO equipment, hope that was enough info. Let me know!
