LifeLike track cleaning fluid

The past few days I have been using LifeLike track cleaning fluid to clean the rails and the wheels on my locos because I was out of alochol, and have nothing but trouble running the trains. A couple of days ago I got some more 91% alochol and started using it again. Last night I cleaned the rails and the wheels and started running the train, it ran about a good as I have ever seen it run.

I do believe the whole problem was in the cleaning with the LifeLike stuff. I dumped out the LL crap and kept the bottle. I would personally like to tell everyone to leave the LL junk on the shelf and do not waste your money.

Anyone elece have bad luck with the LL cleaning fluid? Just wondering. Mike

What is OV Alcohol and where can you buy it?

I have always used Rail Zip and a Walthers bright boy. I seem to always had good luck with that.

Is your method any better?
