I printed off “Room Access Lift Bridges for Model Railroads” by Elmer McKay some time back. Only seem to find the first page. Not sure what was on later pages. There is no reference on the printed page of where it came from. Googled title and author, but it lists a whole slew of unrelated as well as a little related stuff. For some reason I didn’t FAVORITE it.
Does anyone know where I can get back to this article?
You know the strangest thing,I was going through some older MR’S.looking for flat car loads and that article was in one of the mags I was looking through, but I’ll be a son,of a bee,if I can find it now… If I have any success,in finding it,I’ll surely post it…
Frank, will be interested to see the article. Haven’t started yet, so plenty of time to put more ideas into the noggin to see which will work best.
cuyama, exactly the article I was looking for. Whole article now printed and in mrr library.
Got a lot of work to do, ceiling, lighting and reverse the door, as well as cleaning room out, so that a shelf can go in. When I see something relevant to future projects, I try to get them where I can find them.
I didn’t find that article yet,but I’ll keep looking. As long as you are in no rush and you want to shop,I did find one that you might like to look at,looks like one of the simplest and easy to make that I have seen…It is in the May 2010,MR,on page 26,in the workshop section,Jim Hediger, hosts that section…The guy that designed it was,Allan Fehrholz…I think it’s worth a look see…
