Lift out bridge article???

I think in Trains I saw an ad for either CTT or MR mag article on a lift out bridge. But I can’t find it. Anyone know what month and which mag?

Boyd, not at home so can’t look it up. Someone on here will reply. If not, I will find it when I get home tonight. It used a trailer wiring connector [flat 4 wire] to connect/disconnect the wires to the track on the liftout.

PS: did search of all mags. Several in MR and others but nothing in CTT. Guess CTT is not archived. [V] Must be under another key word other than “liftout”.

Good recollection, ChiefEagles – CTT published Peter Riddle’s dandy article “Build lift-out sections” in the December 2006 issue, page 52-53. The trailer hitch electrical connector was also a tip from Neil Besougloff’s “20 Fast wiring tips” story in our 20th anniversary issue (November 2007).

Kent

bulid your own useing a 2x4 and a couple of head phone plugs at each end.

On the new layout making a lift out section across the powder room door and painting a scene on the door to look like a gourge with a river. That 4 years of art school are paying off.

Bob to the rescue. lift-out instead of liftout.

Thanks Kent! (some of us here are having difficulty seeing) [;)]
