Light up the N Scale Atlas caboose. (How?)

Hello I’m new in this forum,[:)]

I would like to put light inside the caboose and a red light in the back.
I have an copula Atlas caboose,
The main problem is, the plastic wheels and how to pick up the power from tracks.

I ask the LHS but they say they don’t carry this upgrades.

Any of you know a caboose ready for this upgrade, or with the lights included?

all ideas are welcome.

Just an idea but you could switch the plastic wheels for metal ones and run the stripped end of a wire to the light back to the rear wheels. It workes the same way model railroader showed how to put a light in a slag car.

In the January 2006 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman, there is an article about installing working marker lamps in a caboose. It’s on the cover, as a matter of fact. The article deals with an HO caboose, but I’m going to see what I can do with it in N.
