The second picture is either Woodlawn-Jerome or Pelham Bay Park. Definitely northern end of an IRT “subway on viaduct” in TA language or just plain elevated.

BTW, I should have guess the 242nd St #1 line terminal picture no matter what kind of image filtering you applied - I used that station quite a number of times in the mid-1980s.
I was often amused at the time that on that short block of Broadway there were 3 bars, plus another one just a little ways up 242st - was it the Greenleaf maybe? I don’t a recall at this late date - I see Bing denotes it as the Ibiza lounge now (heh, the d@@mn pizzeria in the middle of the block really is called Broadway Joe’s - I always figured we just call it that cause we were lazy-@@$$$ students who couldn’t be bothered to learn the real name…). Don’t recall if the Terminal Bar was the Townies’ bar or not (actually I never really drank much, but a few of my fellow engineering students sure did)

I add my vote to calling Franklin Ave shuttle “picturesque”. It, and Boston’s Mattapan-Ashmont shuttle, packs a lot of varied right of way in a short ride.
