LION @ CONEY ISLAND

Looks like a good a start. Are you going to model the Wonder Wheel? [(-D]

Excellent job, LION.

No wonder wheel… but Nathans will be there as will the street to the beach, albeit in photo format only.

Other than the sheer size of the platforms/station – The lighting does add a lot of pizazz!

Lion, great stuff. Have you encompassed the expanse of the NYC system…242nd St to Coney Island. Or where there farther outreaches? I remember Rockaway, but forget the geography…do you havea map to post? Love your modeling, the skills and the memories of NYC in the 50’s/60’s.

Route of LION runs from 242nd Street to the South Ferry Loop and back again.

See…

Here is my Subway map.

Is SECRET TUNNEL from Smith 9th Street to Chambers Street, Express trains use that loop: make additional stops at Lenox Avenue and Nevins Street, but is all off stage and not visible to viewers.

LION runs six car trains. 50’ cars, 300’ trains platforms are all four feet long.

Thanks for your comments.
