Lion King Amtrak Co

Back in ‘I think’ 2001, there was an Amtrak Coach decorated to promote the Lion King movie, I wish to make decals for this car in N scale.

I have some photos, but a really good side on shot would be great, can anyone help.

Teditor.

Intresting, I have never heard of said car.

There are some photos on www.trainweb.com. you need to type in lion king superliner in the trainweb.com only search box, after the search results come up, click on the photos of the lion king, then Thursday, more photos:

A bit of fumbling, but you should get there with those directions.

The photos shown are unfortunately just not good enough to get everything.

C’mon guys, can’t someone help? hasn’t anyone heard of this coach, I need to know what the writing says on the right hand side of the car, I have managed to find enough info to do the other artwork - please! please! please!

Did you look at the link RR Redneck? over 60 people have looked at this post and still no one seems to know about it, it did exist, I have photos, they are just not good enough to make out the writing.

If I could travel back in time and make it to the US, I would get a picture, but I can’t, so pleeeeeeease help me - somebody!

Here are a few pics. I will try to find more for you.

Thanks for that, I was able to make out the top line of writing “CALL TICKETMASTER”, but still cannot make out the rest, I have the artwork done for eveything on the left end of the car and the Lion picture, just that wording is being elusive now.

really appreciate the help given

Directly below the “Call Ticketmaster” looks to be their phone numbers. I am still hunting around. I have been in your position, so I completely sympathise with your dilema.

It also says “Pantages Theatre”…were the Lion King is still playing in Los Angeles. See this link, it might help with phone numbers and such.

Thanks Southwest Chief, that information was a real big help, the Pantages Theatre answered one major question, I thought it said Fantastic, about the only thing I am missing now is the the wording just above Pantages Theatre, I am happy to use the phone number from the web site you gave me, could be right, maybe not, but close, so I am almost there.

A very model railroading Xmas to all!
