Time to start a new thread, lest the old one get too long.
His royal cheapmess, the LION concocted this platter of spaghetti to control the signal lights on the layout. The row of switches by the fascia would change the color of the lights. Well, this was not one of the LION’s better ideas. First of course, you could set the signals for a photo shoot, but little else, they were not automatic, and I would have to play with the switches until I discovered which one controled the signal that I wanted to change.
Each signal has four wires coming down to this location, But now LION is automating the signals, and so all of this is coming out, or more likely, just abandoned in place, especially since the track to South Ferry was built directly on top of most of this wire.
The LION whishes all of ewe a hippo newt ear, and may all of your signals be clear!
What LION has created here appears to be very much like pictures I have seen of the insides of some of the earliest digital computers. I would respectfully suggest that LION leave it as it is. For all we know it could at this very minute be working on the Ulitmate Question - of Life, The Universe, and Everything.

Or maybe is just lunch for the gremlins that live under every layout [dinner]
And did you find him? He is in there, feasting on the spaghetti as it were. By the time I posted this phot, I forgot where I put him, but I did find him, and he is in there.
Looks like maybe he is on the back of that signal there. Guess him want to set signal to red, make train stop, so him can catch a ride to some place more populated.
The answer has been changed. It is now 42.423150699987
Be that as it may, the LION has been working on the railroad. Him was going to take new pictures, but what the heck… Wires are wires, and you have all seen wires before. Here is trains at the 14th Street / Union Square station.
