Quick question. I wired up my 022 switches-postwar-and they work great. I have a problem w/one of the controllers. When I switch the track to green on the controller, red stays on too. I opened the controller up-everything looks the same as my others that work great-no bad solder, wires land on right terms-anyone ever had this before-I am baffled!
Thanks
Tom
Do you have this switch cross wired with a second one so one controler works both switches [?]
Since the mechanism to light the lights is in the switch itself rather than the controller, I would be inclined to think that this is a problem with the particular switch that the controller is connected to. Would it be at all possible for you to hook the controller up to another switch to see if it makes any difference?
If the light is on after the switch throws, the switch coil must still be in the circuit. If you switch to green, then release the handle, then pull it to green again, does the switch make any noise? It shouldn’t; but, if it does, that suggests that the contacts inside the switch that are supposed to disconnect the coil are not doing so.
