Lionel 151 Semaphore Parts?

My 151 dances when activated and upon further review, the gears are worn on the arm and the other part. I’d like to replace both. Any place to get the part #s and then a dealer?

The Train Tender has both the 151-10 rack & 151-11 arm, $2.75 for the set. The rack rarely wears out.

Thanks Rob. You’re right. I don’t need the rack, only the blade. That’s what’s worn. How easy is it to remove the rivet on the blade to switch out the gear? Doesn’t look easy. Shoulda been a screw! Can just the gear be replaced or do I need the whole blade?

trainbrain,

Use a small punch to drive the pin out of the blade. When you install the new blade, use channel lock pliers to push the pin back into the blade.

Jim’s right - it’s a press fit affair, and the gear & arm are 1 piece.

Thanks Jim & Rob-I punched the pin out so I just need the new blade. Will call The Train Tender tomorrow.
