Lionel 2203B prewar tender?

Hello,

If anyone has one can you explain how it was wired?

It has the bell and light/thermo assy but doesn’t have a roller pickup so i’m unsure how to wire this correctly.

I believe that the 2203 tender got its accessory “power” from three flexible leads that plugged into the 203 Steam Engine. If you have three leads, then insert the green wire into the middle jack on the engine, then insert the remaining two by making sure that both wires go straight to the remaining jacks. In other words, do not cross the wires. I hope this helps.

The 203 has 2 jacks and the tender has 2 leads.

No green wire.

Hello TMC! &[#welcome] to the forum! Go to Dr.Tinker’s Toy Train Part’s Website & e-mail your query to him as he should have a wiring diagram for your 2203 Tender on hand or he may have a Tender to look at & let you know how to wire it up. Good luck & let us know what happens. Take Care.
