i have a well used 262 crossing gate and the green wires from the bulbs are undone. Where on the solenoid mechanism do they attach? The crossing gate works just fine as it is but no lamps. Thanks in advance.

They are simply connected in parallel.
Thank you Rob. As I mentioned in another forum I have no idea what these diagrams mean. I am just looking to hook up the two little green wires so that the lamps work on this accessory.
Then just connect them to the Fahnestock Clips on the bottom, extending them as necessary.
There is solder to the right of the light bulb in the solenoid mechanism. Is it possible these green wires were once connected there? The green wires have been cut off cleanly with no evidence of solder.
The green wires are soldered to these 2 spots - the ground connection on the top of the solenoid housing and the solder tab on the solenoid.
Thanks from me too as I also have a 262 that needs rewiring! [:D]
