Lionel #33 engin and cars

Greetings all, I am new to both model railroading and this site.
I was given a Lionel #33 engine and the #35 Pullman and #36 Observation cars. The engine is black and both cars are dark olive green in color.
The engine is missing both pilots (cow catchers) and couplers and one of the cars is missing the roof.
Who could I contact to obtain replacement parts or copies?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Mark

Hello, Try a search on Olsen’s toy train parts, or Brassears toy train parts ( I think thats how you spell it). That is where i get all my toy train parts for my standard gauge trains. They are very realiable and very fast. Olsen’s has a library that will tell you where the parts go and the numbers of the parts. I too have a #33 dark green one, so if you need any help maybe i cam help. My #33 has all its parts and is 100% original. So if you need to know where a part goes just ask…thanks.

Your best bets for prewar parts would be 3 places:

  1. Surf the standard gauge category on ebay

  2. email Tony Hay, believe his email is Tony@haytrains.com

  3. Contact Jeff Kane at ttender.com. He is an awesome guy and always eager to help, as is Tony.
