Found a badly chipped Hubley folding wing jet that I stripped down and thought that it would make a good flat car load .Just had to make a couple of boots to hold the landing gear and I was good to go. 
Wow! That’s one chubby jet! Looks like whoever had it made sure it was well-fed!
Interesting, I remember the Hubley folding wing P-47 from when I was a kid but don’t ever remember seeing a jet like that.
Yes I remember that and the red P-38.I think the jet was from the 50s and yes it is a bit stubby and bulbous .It was originally red and silver but I like the red orange and white scheme I painted it in.
