I have an old Lionel #68 Exec Insp Car in need of cosmetic restoration… electromechanical parts work fine, but it needs front/rear bumpers, hdlights & repair for two small dents/ 1/4" crack on top… cleaning/repainting couldn’t hurt either. Any thoughts?.. Tx
If you have the bumpers you can send them to Chrome-Tech to be replated.
jamsit,
Welcome to the CTT Forum! [#welcome]
Try these guys. They are experts in postwar parts.

The drawings and parts lists for your #68 are here:

Almost forgot - regular styrene model cement will help you with the crack. If you need to fill any dents for repainting, I recommend Squadron Green putty (from your local hobby shop). Repainting is not an area I can help much with as far as color match. Some others here should be able to offer some good advice.
Good luck with restoring that car!
