Did Lionel ever reissue the 6800 Airplane Flatcar? I would like to have one but the origionals are very expensive.

Another option, if you want an original “looking” plane, is to buy a reproduction plane from a parts dealer and put it on your own red flatcar.

I have the flat, but missing the airplane.
It should be black and yellow. Repro’s are going in the $50-55 range (saw one at the Somerset, NJ show for $55 -eastcoasttrains.com Englishtown, NJ). I’m sure the flat can be had for cheap (considering missing the airplane).
