Lionel Amtrak MPC era passenger cars?

Hey everyone,

Just looking for some quick info.

Im looking into buying the 1975 Lionel Amtrak ABA F3s and was wondering if Lionel released any passenger cars to go with them that year or in the next few years? I`ve been looking online but have come up empty. Any help would be great.

I checked the out-of-print Greenberg’s Roadname Guide and it shows Lionel just made the 6403/4/5/6/10/11/12-series cars 1976-1977 to match the F units. Oh, these were the short streamlined cars.

I think it was in the 80s that Lionel made an aluminum set to go behind the Amtrak GG1. I think these would look pretty good behind the F units. Sorry I don’t have the catalog numbers or anything else of use.
