Recently bought a brand new PRR Lionel Ballast Tamper 28403. Lionel’s catalogs and website state “interior illumination.” My unit’s interior does not light up (although it has 4 exterior lites), nor do I see a light bulb on the inside roof. Did they decide against this feature and not update info, or is mine in need of repair? Thanks!

Yes, & also check all over & underneath for a switch !! Just a guess !!

One I have is not worth a hoot. You have to look hard to see it tamp. It was the third one to get it to move that much.
