Lionel Dump Bin ?

I have two Lionel Dump Bins (#160). One measures 7" long and the other 8" long -same width-. Would you know which bin originally went with which car and/or accessory? As always, many thanks.

PS Solid black, Bakelite and/or Plastic

Can’t say for sure but the longer one probably came with the twin-bin dump car # 3359

I might be mistaken but I believe the shorter one is just the earlier version.I cant remember where I read but I think the change over was in the mid fifties.I dont believe the length dictated a specific car.

FOLLOW-UP: As usual, you guys are correct. The Lionel Library Web site says that the longer bin was introduced in 1955 to accommodate the 3359 twin dump car. Many thanks.
