Lionel Fastrack Crossover

Hey All,

I am building a 10’x11’ Fastrack layout, and was just curious to know why Lionel has not made a double crossover as of yet. It seems like all other manufacturers make them, of coarse these are ones that you need to add you own ballast to which would make sense; but anyone’s info on this subject would be good to know thanks!

My guesses would be:

  1. Cost
  2. Demand
  3. You can build your own and if you ever change the layout and not need the DxO you aren’t out mega $$$ because it would be at least the cost of 4 switches, a crossover, and 2 sections of track

There was a thread some time ago about making a dbl crossover using fastrack. I don’t remember the title tho.
