To all of the C.T.T. Staff, especially Bob Keller, I should have researched your “Back Issues” file before opening my, as my wife says:'Big Fat Mouth!"
Thank you for the positive info. on this engine, as per Bob Keller’s article in the Jul. 2002 C.T.T. Publication.
From your article review and what C.T.T. Forum member Roger Bielen said, I definitely want this engine.
You publication of C.T. T. is a very valuable source for information, entertainment and enjoyment.
Thank You,
Sincerely,

CTT Staff and All,

I recently purchased one of Lionel item #6-18292, G.E. U30C diesels, of an early 1970’s C&O, Chessie System color scheme and road #3312 (of an actual C&O engine which Lionel modeled).

I have a subscription to your publication and after reading Mr. Keller’s article of Lionel’s U30C with TMCC, and also being a member on your forum and reading the posts of forum members who own either TMCC, Legacy, or both and also their rants and raves of Lionel’s two systems, encouraged me to buy the aforementioned engine.

Now, I know what all of the hoopla is about and after running my engine and enjoying it I had to show it off to a friend who’s into HO. When he saw, heard and ran it for himself, he was very much impressed with my engine.

I mostly enjoy the engine and all of it’s details, features, color scheme, paint and decal applications and near 1:48 scale size,
but there are minor bugs that can be lived with, exceprt what I can’t figure out is why didn’t Lionel install rear marker lights, there’s plenty of room and I believe, there wouldn’t be any heat damage to the body, due to the new LED lamps which burn cool.

Your, CTT Publication and Forum are important and neccessary in order to gain information concerning the model railroad world, your publication and forum are both enjoyable and entertaining.

Thank You,

Sincerely,

Ralph Lambiase
