Lionel Lionmaster Northern Pacific Challenger - Pics/Videos

As promised in a previous thread of mine, here are some pictures and videos of the new Challenger in action. Even though it’s only running in conventional mode at the moment (and it doesn’t do it justice, so TMCC here I come!) I think it is still an amazing thing to behold.

And also some videos on youtube:

And a short video of me playing with my UP Berkshire showing the smoke unit:

Hope you all enjoy!

Now that is something to be proud of. Good chuffs and a DEEP whistle. Enjoy.

Maybe its the voltage conversion that makes it sound so good…Sounds great!

It looks like it negotiates smaller than 0-72 curves???

Yeh, it’s designed to run on O-31 curves min. I was really worried that the overhang would be awful, but it’s really good. Think I’m gonna be needing a more powerful transformer at some point - maybe invest in an MTH Z4000 with TMCC. Wait and see…

Wow! What a train! Beeeeee-utiful! [tup]
