lionel milk car

Hi, I just picked up a lionel milk car from ebay, the wiring is missing from the uncouple/unload control to the track. Any one know where I can get a wiring diagram for this? Ed

Hi Ed,

try this,

I’m not sure what that link shows.

Are you talking about the operating section of track that is required? FasTrac has one but it dosen’t fit too great. I used an O operating section and two transition pieces (about $42 worth.) You can get a manual online at Lionel.com if that helps any.

Sorry I can’t help more than that.

If you take the bottom off the control button, you’ll see a stack of four copper wafers.

The top most of these, which will have one side bent up at a sharp angle, connects to terminal 1 on the UCS/RCS track.

The contacts go in order working on down the stack, with the bottom one, the one directly in contact with the buttons, being connected to terminal #4.

There are fiberboard spacers between each of the contacts-keep these in order, or it will mess things up.

Also, you’ll see a small round spacer-don’t lose this. It goes between the second and third contacts on the “unload” side.

Sorry guys,I should have explained.link shows the wiring for both the car and the control button.

Thank you, I’ll give it a shot. Ed
