Original owner from high school. Looking at Greenberg’s Re & Op manual 45-69 6th & 7th eds I see the fixed worker sits on a longer post that the plastic short posts on my unit. What glue/cement is best for fastening the figure? Thank you
Should be an interference fit, no glue needed.
If ‘antique value’ is not a prime concern, you can turn an extension to the post from plastic spruce or rod, using a drill or Dremel tool. Drill the existing ost and the new extension and use a piece of wire or similar material as an armature.
You can dissolve plastic chips in solvent hobby cement if you have trouble getting the extension to bond.
