I thought the “today show” boxcars were pretty cool and self promoting for NBC as well… but still cool. Of coure Lionel didn’t have much time to talk about how the hobby has changed over the years… but still good for the hobby as a whole.
That was great publicity opportunity for Lionel. The fact that the Today personalities got enthused with/by the train setup on air as it was being taped was big big plus for the hobby and Lionel.
What would help Lionel is advertising on TV like they did when Johnny Cash was their spokesman.
