Lionel remote switches

Are LIONEL HO REMOTE CONTROL SWITCHES compatible with Atles switches?

Thanks

What scale? What code? More info needed…

How old are these things? Lionel hasn’t been in the HO market for quite some time. Even when they were, most of their items were manufactured by someone else and put in Lionel packaging.

My guess is, they are old brass turnouts. They are probably code 100, which was kind of standard in the day. As such, they would be “compatable” with today’s code 100 track.

If they are brass, as we say, they are “collectors’ items.” In our neighborhood, we put them out by the street and they collect them on Wednesdays. Brass track, characterized by a gold color rather than the silver of today’s standard nickel-silver track, is difficult to keep clean because it oxidizes to a non-conducting compound.

If you have a hobby shop nearby, take them in and compare them to modern turnouts. Someone there could probably give you a quick evaluation, too.
