Lionel Santa Fe #158 Engine with Rail Sounds

Good evening

I have a Lionel Santa Fe #158 Engine with Rail sounds. It operates perfectly, the sound of the engine works, and it goes forward and backwards with a 1032 transformer.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to get all the railsounds to work? I do not have the instructions and listening to a UTUBE video it sounds as if there are engineer dialogues.

If it’s like the Lionel “DieselSounds” boxcar I’ve got it probably works like this:

With the train in “neutral,” that is stopped but with power to the tracks, push the horn button on the transformer. There should be a horn sound, then crew dialog.

Tap the horn button quick and short to trigger the dialog. Just a quick toot!
