Looking for any information on a Lionel Standard Gauge #9 Dark Green electric. Does anyone know if this engine is hard to find? I have never seen one at any show or on a layout. I have three dark green cars #428, #429 and #430 also. Thanks!
Well I believe all you will find original anyway is 2 tone green, gunmetal, and orange and your looking at $600.00 and up for it.
By the way heres pics of my 8E and 337 & 338 And these are what you call olive green and yes they are in good condition many scrathes but nice set for around Xmas tree this year I believe is what we decieded it either them or my g gauge but that takes a little over 4’ to make a circle like almost 4’ 6"
I actually have an original dark green Lionel #9 loco, I bought it 15 years ago from original owner in NY, its in very good condition. I have three dark green passenger cars, they are original, but the roofs have been nicely redone. Since I have never seen one of these, I was wondering if its an unusual SG loco?

I don’t know much about Standard just have the one set was going by info in the greenburgs price guide to lionel trains .
FYI: I just saw where there is a Lionel #9 Dark Green set on e-Bay item #170265837726 - this is the set I was asking about…lets see what it goes for.
