The price on the 2 rail cars varies significantly depending on color.
Same for the engine, upwards of a $500 swing depending on color
This is per Greenberg, condition also will determine the value.
Thanks for the reply Seayakbill, Can you give me a website where I can go to do more research on the cars I have. What is Greenberg ?
No web site that I am aware of for pricing. Greenberg is publishing co. that puts out an annual price guide for Lionel trains. Dating from 1901 to the present year, costs about $20. You probably can go to their website and order a price guide.
I find that their price guides are a bit on the generous side. E-Bay is another good site to see what folks are bidding for Lionel Trains. There is usually around 19,000 Lionel items up for bid.
The old postwar ZW 275 watt or the 190 watt KW will have enuff power for the Standard gauge engines. As for price guides, the Greenberg’s Price guide is published by Kalmbach Books, the same people who do the Classic Toy Trains. FYI on price guides, that is what they are, just a guide, usually you won’t get but 50% of the price guide value if you were to sell the item yourself.
