I heard roumers about Lionel trains going bankrupt, is this true? Are they being bought out? Or going under, never to make trains again?

Lionel has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection because of the $40 million lawsuit brought against them by MTH. This doesn’t particularly mean that they are going to go out of business, especially if they appeal the verdict and get it reduced.
The name LIONEL will ALWAYS be around… you wont see Chevy or Ford die either… Just like you wont see Lionel.
Lionel now is a far cry from the Old used to be Lionel.
