A-U variable voltage is all over the place, from 1.299 to 14.??? to 3 digit ma. I looked at older threads to check other voltage and tested mine. A-C, 5.32; A-D, 14.6; A-E, 11.9; A-F, 26.3; B-U, 12.57; B-A, 7.22; B-D, 7.25; B-E, 4.57; B-F, 18.9; E-F, 14.37 and C-U is not to far off, 10.63 to 1.299 reverse variable.
I took the cover off and someone had replaced the power cord, all wires look in good shape. Only problem I saw is the top 4 plates, around the wiring on the 18 V end of variable, were off center hold down stud. This transformer may have been dropped on that corner.
I’m thinking might not be able to use for trains but use for fixed voltage accessorys. I do have Lionel 1015 and a new Tech4 600 that can run my trains at this time. Thanks for your help
