We have a broken wire off a Lionel tranformer, the wire looks like it connects to the variable transister that controls the speed.
Would anyone be able to send us a diagram/picture of the inside of the transformer, so we can fix it.
There are no transistors in postwar Lionel transformers, and no such thing as a “variable transister”. I imagine that you are talking about the wiper.
