My brother wants to get rid of his Lionel Berkshire, it’s new and a really nice engine, it runs strong, and has great sounds, but it hardley smokes at all!!?? I know the smoke switch is on and he has’nt let the smoke system go dry, it’s under warrenty, and I told him that I’d go with him to the repair place to have it looked at, but he’s adamit that he wants to get rid of it, he does’nt beleave lionel trains smoke as good as MTH, and he wants a loco that smokes, and after seeing my MTH smoke , he now wants to get an MTH. Do any of you guys have any ideas as to what might be wrong with his Lionel Berkshire? I might be interested in buying it from him if he keeps insisting on selling it, but I still think he’s being foolish, and stubern.
