Lionel was always known for it’s astute marketing and public relations people and through the years it came up with a number of slogans to enhance the marketing of it’s trains.

I have listed some here, many that I knew as a train collector and some others that I researched via the internet.

PS One Slogan that I found via the internet was “Nice Toys, Don’t Kill”. Does anyone know if this

really was a Lionel slogan ??

This one is from the Richard Kughn Era:

“Lionel - Because no childhood should be without a train.”

Lionel ads in the Toy Train Revue videos included this slogan.
